Raspberry Pi arrives in US, promptly sells out

The Raspberry Pi $35 computer that I’ve written about on this blog before had the US debut of its A model this week.  The B model has been around for a year already, but the A model leaves off the USB port and the Ethernet port and therefore uses only a third of the power of the original B model.  The A model costs $10 less, was available at Allied, and promptly sold out.  Here is the CNN piece on it:

There is no word on wait times for the new model.
